To Apply for FCC Certification
- Complete FCC Instructor Application and fulfill all requirements within it.
- Must fulfill all qualifications and responsibilities as outlined in Sections 1 & 2 of Article XIV, Active Membership:
- Complete Membership Application and present payment for any contributions due.
- Attend FCC meetings on a regular basis. - Attend and participate in 3 workshops during the year:
- FCC Cloggers Clinic, prior to being critiqued.
- 2 FCC sanctioned or sponsored workshops. - Complete 1 year as a member in good standing after application has been submitted.
- Write and teach an original routine.
- Be critiqued on your original routine by 3 FCC Instructors, none of whom may be a sponsor of the applicant.
- Must physically teach clogging as an instructor or assistant instructor.
FCC Instructors Qualifications & Responsibilities
- Successfully complete all application requirements for FCC Instructor as outlined in Article XIV, Section 3.
- Be available to teach at an FCC sanctioned function at least once a year, including State.
- Be available to critique at a function by personally contacting the critiquing chair upon arrival.
- Attend at least 2 FCC sponsored or sanctioned workshops in 1 calendar year.
- Attend FCC meetings on a regular basis.
Sponsor Responsibilities
- Have personal knowledge of the applicant’s teaching abilities before sponsoring.
- Inform and assist the applicant with all FCC requirements for Instructor Status.
- Assist in the preparation for the critique process.
- Attend the FCC Cloggers Clinic with the applicant.
- Revocation of sponsorship is not allowed after the application has been approved.
